2.Yogic concepts
Choosing the right nutrition in yoga therapy means selecting food that actually supports healing, not just fills the stomach—think sattvic, prāṇa-rich, easy-to-digest meals that are matched to your agni (digestive fire), lifestyle, and current imbalance. In practice, this looks like favouring fresh, seasonal, minimally processed food; eating in calm, regular rhythms; and adjusting quantity and qualities (light/heavy, warming/cooling) so the body can repair, the nervous system can settle, and yoga practices can work more deeply.

3. Relaxing techniques
Yogic relaxation techniques help shift the body from a state of stress into parasympathetic dominance, which supports rest, digestion, and recovery. Practices such as slow diaphragmatic breathing, extended exhalation, guided relaxation, Yoga Nidra, and restorative postures calm the mind, reduce muscular tension, and stimulate the vagus nerve. Through regular practice, these techniques train the nervous system to recover more efficiently, improving sleep quality, digestion, and overall mental balance.
Yoga Nidra
A guided yogic relaxation practice that systematically leads the body and mind into a state of deep conscious rest while maintaining awareness.
Nishpandabhava
A yogic relaxation technique in which attention is directed toward external sounds while remaining completely still, allowing the mind to gradually settle into a state of deep calm and awareness.
Anitya Bhavana
The contemplative practice of reflecting on the impermanent nature of thoughts, sensations, and experiences.
4. Morning & Night Rituals
Morning and night rituals in yoga therapy address how daily routines influence the regulation of the nervous system, energy levels, and sleep cycles. This section explores the importance of consistent rhythms in supporting physical recovery, mental clarity, and hormonal balance. It also discusses how structured beginnings and endings to the day contribute to improved rest, better digestion, and more stable mental states, making routine an essential component in the therapeutic management of many health conditions.
5. Deep Rest Studio
Here we provide a collection of guided talks and sessions that introduce key principles of rest, relaxation, and sleep management for individuals dealing with chronic conditions. This section explores how different yogic relaxation methods support nervous system recovery, reduce mental tension, and improve overall wellbeing. The discussions focus on the role of deep rest in long-term health management, helping individuals understand how restorative practices can support recovery, improve sleep quality, and maintain balance in both body and mind.
