Why Rome Is Part of the Method
TYLT is rooted in Rome—not just as a backdrop, but as a way of working.
Rome is layered, rhythmic, and resilient: ancient foundations supporting a living, modern city. We see the body in the same way—history, structure, and adaptation all stacked together.
Our Rome-based retreats and programs are designed to:
-
slow your nervous system down enough to listen
-
give you space to practise, not just consume information
-
connect you with a rhythm you can bring back into everyday life
Whether you join us online or in-person in Italy, the goal is the same: to create a grounded “classroom” where you can learn your own body and build a realistic wellbeing routine that lasts.
Meet the Founder : Evert
- Physiotherapist
- Yoga Therapy Specialist
- Culinary & Wellness professional
Before founding TYLT, Evert spent years working internationally as a private chef on yachts, planes, exploration vessels, and in royal residences. Precision, consistency, and care were non-negotiable. Over time, one realisation became impossible to ignore:
"Food has to change how people actually feel. It has to heal on all the levels; mentally and physically."
That led him to:
-
study Physiotherapy in Rome, learning the structure, biomechanics, and rehabilitation logic of the body
-
train in Classical Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga Therapy, to understand the nervous system, breath, and regulation through yogic sciences including Ayurveda
-
explore how nutrition, routine, and stress patterns interact with pain, fatigue, and recovery
TYLT is where all of that comes together.
Who TYLT Is For
TYLT is for you if:
-
you feel stuck in cycles of stress, tension, or recurring pain
-
your posture, back, or neck issues keep returning
-
your symptoms seem “everywhere” — digestion, sleep, stress, fatigue — and you sense they’re connected
-
you’re tired of jumping between apps, classes, and advice with no real integration
You don’t need to be flexible, “good at yoga,” or pain-free to start.
You just need a willingness to learn, practise, and meet yourself where you are.
What You’ll Learn with Us
Through our online programs and retreats in Italy, you’ll learn how to:
-
understand your own body’s patterns, limits, and signals
-
use movement safely, without fear of making things worse
-
work with breath and nervous system regulation to respond to stress differently
-
adjust nutrition, routine, rest, and mental habits so they support (instead of sabotage) your recovery
-
build a personal baseline routine you can actually keep up with
The aim isn’t perfection. It’s a body that feels safer, calmer, and more resilient day by day.
